Artist Vs Poet has just launched the new video for their track “Runaway”. It is the first video for the Dallas, TX pop-rock quintet, and is taken from their self-titled EP that was released last year.
The band is currently working on a new album. The album is set for release spring 2010.
Vampire Diaries - Lost Girls (review)
I’ve been watching the show every week, waiting and waiting for it to get better. I would have stopped watching if it was terrible. It isn’t terrible, it just is. But this past Thursday’s episode blew me away. It was so good! I’m so surprised (did they get a new writer? new director? like what’s up?). It’s nice to have finished plot lines finally, they’ve been dragging the show and I think that’s why it’s been mediocre.
If you haven’t watch the show, but enjoy shows for teens, or vampires or the 19th century, then just start with this episode. It’s amazing and you won’t feel lost! It wraps up so many story lines in a movie action way.
I’m a really big fan of the 19th century. I love the literature, art, customs and so on. I had a suspicion that this show would provide flashbacks and it did! The quality was decent, I’d give the historical costumes a “B” grade. When Buffy did the 19th century, the set’s production design and costumes were perfect.
The episode “Lost Girls” of Vampire Diaries is what the show needed. I hope they continue at this pace. And here’s crossing my fingers for more 19th century flashbacks.

Genova (2008)
Starring: Colin Firth, Willa Holland, Perla Haney-Jardine
This is a movie about two sisters who loose their mother in a car accident. Their father decides to relocate them from Chicago to Genova, Italy. While the younger sister Mary deals with hallucinations of her dead mother, the teenage sister Kelly deals with her sexuality.
I was excited to see this movie because Colin Firth is in it! He’s a wonderful actor and I thoroughly enjoy all of his movies. This is an interesting movie aesthetically, however it does move rather slowly and the ending is alright, but it felt hollow.
This is a good movie for anyone who has had to live outside their own culture or has an interest in Italy. I liked that the movie took the viewer into a lot of different churches, since they were all fascinating.
